MODERN ART CREATED FROM A MASTERPIECE

I find it fascinating to take something that is already interesting to look at, capture it in some way, and change it to evoke different emotions. By employing the I-Ching technique to my own photography of Ken’s Ducati, the viewer can see the motorcycle in dramatic new way.

I like the viewer to explore the piece one tile at a time. Then, stepping back the entire piece takes on a graphical, unique modern art composition. Each individual tile tells its own story and combined with my I-Ching technique, together in concert they make a completely balanced composition.

I’m always surprised at what I’m able to create and sometimes it’s somewhat different than what I envisioned. In this case my canvas was an industrial and state-of-the-art engineered piece of machinery. I hope the viewer enjoys looking at the piece as much as I enjoyed creating it.
